Terms of Use

Last updated September 18, 2026.

By using Loupe you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The service

Loupe lets you zoom into a photo, send only that close-up to an AI image editor, and composite the result back into the original. Output is probabilistic. It may miss, distort, or refuse a request. You are responsible for the photos you provide and for how you use the result.

Privacy

There is no account. Your full photograph stays on this device. Only the zoomed crop is sent to perform an edit. See We keep nothing.

Free and Pro

Free includes 5 close-up edits per week at 1K regional resolution. Pro is unlimited close-ups at 2K and includes commercial use of exports. Free exports are for personal use.

Pro on the App Store is an auto-renewing subscription: $1.99 per month or $19.99 per year, billed by Apple to your Apple ID. It renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Unused free edits do not roll over. Pro is for reasonable human use — automated or bulk generation may be rate-limited.

Acceptable use

Do not use Loupe to create illegal content, to violate someone’s privacy or publicity rights, or to bypass another service’s safety rules. xAI’s usage policies apply to every AI request.

Intellectual property

You keep rights you already have in your photos. You grant Loupe a limited license to process the cropped region in order to perform the edit you asked for. Loupe and its marks belong to the publisher.

Disclaimer

The app is provided as is. We are not liable for lost photos, missed edits, or indirect damages, except where the law forbids that limit.
