We keep nothing
Last updated September 18, 2026.
Loupe is built so you can edit a photograph without handing us your life. There is no account, no cloud library, and no profile. If you close the tab or delete the app, we have nothing left of yours to look at.
What never leaves this device
Your full photograph. Your camera roll. Undo history. The finished download. Loupe reads a photo only after you choose it, keeps it in this browser’s memory, and composites the result here.
What leaves, briefly
When you tap to edit, Loupe crops the zoomed viewfinder and sends that crop — not the rest of the frame — to xAI’s Imagine service so the close-up can be changed. The patched pixels come back and are set into your original on this device. Loupe does not save the crop, the prompt, or the result on a server afterward.
What we store
Nothing about you. Plan status (Free or Pro) and this week’s free edit count live only in this device’s local storage so the app can remember the weekly allotment. Clearing site data or deleting the app removes them. We cannot see them.
What we do not do
We do not create accounts. We do not keep a gallery. We do not sell personal information. We do not use your photos to train our own models. We do not show third-party advertising. We do not run tracking pixels or analytics suites.
Payments
When Loupe is sold on the App Store, Apple processes Pro subscriptions. We do not receive your card number. Apple’s privacy policy applies to that checkout.
Children
Loupe is not directed at children under 13. Do not submit photos of children if you are not permitted to.
